Why do we sell the flyer pole separately from the flyer decoy?
Whenever I buy a spinning wing decoy, I keep the top section and toss the rest. I don’t hunt shallow water, and the stake needs to be longer for many places I regularly hunt.
This is why we sell our flyer pole kit separately from the flyer—hunting water isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation. For some folks, knee-deep is the deepest water they hunt, while others brave the deep, mucky waters of lakes, rivers, and marshes that demand a much longer pole. By offering these kits separately, we let you pick the pole length that best suits your needs. Because let’s face it, one size rarely fits all.

Wing spars for flyers are like used cars—you never know when they’ll break. Over time, they’ll need replacing. That’s why we recommend keeping a few extras on hand while hunting.
